My Love for Art & Graphic Design
My love for art started with watching my mother paint and creating homemade decorations for the holidays. It deeply inspired me to create my own art for TV series, movies, and YouTube I enjoyed watching as I grew up. I have been making art for as long as I can remember, creating all sorts of art from realism to abstract fantasy. My love then blossomed into world and character building alongside my writing, in which I’ve written 2 novels, many poems, essays, and short stories after being encouraged to write in school. My love for art doesn’t stop at traditional pencil drawing, it has spread to acrylic painting, India ink, zines, collages, watercolor, card making, photo books, and more. I have loved creating things and bringing my visions into life. I hope I can make your visions come to life as well!
The primary projects I have worked on as a freelancer have been for Salon2Suites in Carrboro, NC and for Sunday Assembly in Chapel Hill, NC which have given me a lot of creative freedom to explore what I love most about graphic design and creating websites in WordPress. I have loved creating logos with my own drawings and typography. It is a surreal feeling knowing that my drawings could be on the sides of buildings representing a whole business! It fills me with a lot of joy knowing I can help people visualize what they are hoping for their websites and logos. I have also enjoyed making digital business cards, drawing layouts and sketches of what a business’ location could look like.
